While The Sovereign Series is a work of fiction, the emotional weight and themes of trauma woven into its pages are deeply personal. While certain plot elements are fictionalized for the story, many of these struggles are rooted in my own real life lived experiences. Writing this book has been a vital place for me to process and heal. While I do have Military experience, the PTSD episodes due to combat are fictional. CPTSD is something that I do struggle with. Themes such as being held hostage at gun point, severe SA, etc in this book are from my real experiences along with much more. My hope is that by giving these feelings a voice on the page, this story might also bring a sense of comfort or understanding to readers who are navigating their own shadows.

I finished chapter one and two, and continued with chapter 10. Struggling with severe OCD and ADHD has been the bane of my writing the last few weeks. Sometimes the word flow is as a waterfall, other times I get stuck on the first word. The important thing I have learned and have taken from my time of writing is to never force it. The story will naturally come to you the way it is meant to.
